Jobs and health...continued

Well the story hasn't changed yet...the answer was 'no' for Beau too. He does have acouple other prospects...one we would have to move, but would be a great job. The other we would stay put and would be a really good job. Please be in prayer for us that God would provide one of these jobs. I am (well 'we' are) getting to our breaking point. I still don't know what God is waiting for, or making us wait for rather...maybe it's just the plain fact of waiting...but I feel like we need something to change soon or things are going to get beyond stressful!

On another note, Beau has been sick for the past 7 weeks with the cough of the season. Along with everyone else he has picked up something that is hanging on for dear life. We were nervous to go to the doctor, since we don't have insurance since being laid off for so long, but we finally went. Well a couple weeks ago we tried the chiropractor first...i would much rather fix a problem with adjustments and naturally than just take pills that are harder on your body in the long run. That helped trmedously, but the cough was just not going away and he was having asthmatic type symptoms. So in the end he was given antibiotics for the bronchial infection and an inhaler for slight asthmatic issues. Nothing serious, but it wasn't going away on it's own. So he is getting batter...slowly...so please pray all the aches go away and the energy comes back.

We will continue to keep you all posted on the job front.

And by the way happy almost April Fools Month...yes I said month! In our house...and everywhere we go for the month...Beau feels the need to pull pranks all month long :0)

still waiting

Well we were hoping and praying that this past week would be the corner we have been waiting to turn...not yet. since July, I have been applying for job after job and not hearing a word back. It's very frustrating and a little disheartening. A week ago I applied for a job, got asked to come in to take their assessment testing for math & English, and was selected for an interview. Everything seemed to go really well and seemed like it was what God has been preparing, but last Friday I got the letter that is wasn't meant to be. A little bummed, but I know it must not have been God's plan. I guess just going through the interview process was good to do...still praying for an open door. My next step, which I have been thinking about for a few months now is to go back to school. Just not sure what yet...counseling, planning or just a office reception certificate are the front runners :)

Beau on the other hand, has an interview tomorrow morning! Oh Lord let this be your match. we as this job be the one for him...amen.
